The article provides a step-by-step guide to the booking process from the owner's perspective.
1. Booking requests
If a renter finds your camper and sends a booking request (e.g. by searching on www.paulcamper.com), you'll receive the request in the 'My bookings' section of you PaulCamper account. You'll find further information in the booking details. You have 48 hours to respond after you receive a booking request.
2. Contacting a renter
Once you have contacted the renter, you can discuss with any questions you have. As an experienced camper owner, it's important to support new renters as much as you can with helpful tips and information. It's also a good idea to offer to meet them in person and show them your camper. This is particularly helpful for explaining your camper's technical features or customised conversions.
3. Sending an offer
Once you have reached an agreement with your renter, you can send them an offer. Check the booking details for the request by clicking the red button 'Make a binding offer'. You should recheck the offer details and make any required changes to the conditions. Now you are ready to submit your offer. After you have sent an offer, these booking dates will be blocked in your calendar for 72 hours.
4. Confirming a booking
Once your renter has accepted and confirmed the booking, it becomes binding. The rental period is then blocked in your calendar. Find out what happens next here.
